New Victorian is an ethereal Americana outfit imbued with an expansive, psychedelic vision.  Forged in 2018, New Victorian sprouted life as a solo outlet for Scott Taylor, a mental health social worker in Portland, OR.  Taylor's direct & vulnerable songwriting excavates modern dilemmas via indie-folk foundations and alt-country adornments, weaving a varied patchwork of sonic craftsmanship.

Following New Victorian's debut, "High Mass," in 2018, Taylor is currently halfway through a seasonal-themed series of EP releases.  As a live unit, New Victorian seamlessly shift gears from intimate solo performance to full-bore hypnotic country-funk rumpus.
